On foot and MTB activities start in a variety of locations across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and the surrounding counties such as West Sussex. Many activities start within the Cranborne Chase 'area' that is easily reached from Salisbury, Shaftesbury, Warminster, Marlborough, central New Forest and coastal fringes such as Bournmouth, Poole and Lymington and further away such as Andover, Swindon, Southampton and Surrey. Local to me is the central and western New Forest and Cranborne chase with occasional forays to the western South Downs into Wareham, Purbeck, Puddletown and Blandford taking I some of the best open countryside, heathland, woodland and coastal margins the south has to offer.
